USA Has Rules On Firearms & Ammunition At The Border!
Hello,Have a read about what you have to do to cross American borders with ammunition and firearms.

Firearms
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) regulates and restricts firearms and ammunition; and approves all import transactions involving weapons and ammunition. If you want to import or export weapons or ammunition, you must do so through a licensed importer, dealer, or manufacturer. Also, if the National Firearms Act prohibits certain weapons, ammunition, or similar devices from coming into the country, you will not be able to import them unless the ATF provides you with written authorization to do so.
You do not need an ATF permit if you can demonstrate that you are returning with the same firearms or ammunition that you took out of the United States. To prevent problems when returning, you should register your firearms and related equipment by taking them to any CBP office before you leave the United States. The CBP officer will register them on the same CBP Form-4457 used to register cameras or computers. (See the section on Register Items Before You Leave the United States).

Many countries will not allow you to enter with a firearm even if you are only traveling through the country on the way to your final destination. If you plan to take your firearms or ammunition to another country, you should contact officials at that country’s embassy to learn about its regulations.

Kyle and Svet-Great post. I was wondering though why people would be crossing the borders with fire-arms anyway? I guess for hunting trips abroad? I don't know, I am not familiar with guns other than my stun-gun. Great post! hope you both are well!

Hunting is the biggest reason, I can think of. The main issue is that you must do your home work before you try to cross any borders. I think that if you did not declare ammo with the USA border they might get a little bit upset. :)
I think that you would even have to declare the stun gun. It could be a serious weapon?

Kyle and Svet- I think your right. It is a C2 Taser and set at it's highest setting sends a shock of 400,000 volts. I don't quite know what that means, but I am pretty sure it will hurt pretty bad. Thankfully I have only had to use it once and that man has stayed away. That and we kind of make sure he can't find us. I wanted to let you know, I think I am going to post about Pastor Miles today. I understand about tired of issues. I have to reject comments all the time that are racist, profane & degrading over the Pastor issue. Did you know that people still use the commie word to describe Russians?

I most certainly CAN believe that Americans still use the word communist when describing Russia. Nevermind that hasn't been the case for a long time. Sometimes I think that Americans deserve the wrap we get because of people who do ignorant things like that. Isn't it amazing that you are obviously trying to help this man and people are still rude? The ultimate irony is when the person being rude is a "good christian." These same people are wearing a What Would Jesus Do bracelet and have a fish stuck to the back of their gas guzzling SUV. Yet somehow I think they missed a couple of chapters in the bible.
