Russia: South Ossetia has Desire for Being Annexed!

Seems Georgia has issues with Autonomous Republics!
Hello,

So Georgia keeps killing people in the breakaway republic of South Ossetia: "It was reported on Friday evening that three people had been killed as Georgian troops continued to shell its capital, Tskhinvali." Georgia has also: "declared a sniper war on the Republic of South Ossetia and made another attempt to unleash a large scale war," It was also said. "The republic has so far refrained from retaliatory moves, but will not do so any more." South Ossetia is bound and determined to be annexed by Russia and Georgia is playing the bully..... (Link)

South Ossetia has again reiterated the desire to become a part of Russia, Eduard Kokoity, who is the president of this unrecognized and breakaway province of Georgia, made the respective statement Wednesday.
“This is our responsibility to Russia and we should execute it with honor no matter how hard and tough it would be, no matter how hard and tough we have been beaten in Beslan and Tskhinvali. They beat us exactly to weaken the standing of Russia,” Kokoity announced during the news conference in Vladikavkaz.

The president emphasized that the ties of South Ossetia with North Caucasus republics of Russia have strengthened recently. “Just take a look how many representatives of these republics have recently visited South Ossetia and Abkhazia, how many calls we are receiving when the situation aggravates. Our brothers are ready to bring forward detachments of volunteers,” Kokoity said.

But South Ossetia will count on its own forces in case of the critical situation, the president promised.

South Ossetia was Georgia’s autonomy in time of the Soviet Union. But Georgia’s First President Zviad Gamsakhurdia cancelled the autonomy and attempted to resolve the problem by force. The armed conflict lasted till summer of 1992, stripping Georgia off control over a portion of South Ossetia.

South Ossetia has been seeking independence ever since but Georgia is ready to offer only the autonomy status.(Link)

Russia's Foreign Ministry called on Saturday upon Georgia and its breakaway region of South Ossetia to show restraint and search for ways to settle the conflict without violence.

South Ossetia has not yet mobilized its population following border incidents allegedly provoked by Georgia but put its armed forces on high alert, the interior minister said on Saturday.

Georgia and Ukraine are country's that the USA is illegally playing with. "Bush and Rasputin Dick Cheney have broken a 1991 pledge made by President Bush Senior to Soviet chairman Michael Gorbachev. In exchange for Gorby’s not using the Red Army to crush spreading revolts in East Germany and across the dying Soviet Union, Washington agreed not to advance NATO eastward toward Russia or into the old USSR. Gorbachev’s courageous, humane concession averted a crisis that could have led to a nuclear war.

Gorbachev kept his side of the bargain, allowing the Soviet Union to implode. But the US, sneering at Boris Yeltsin’s bankrupt, demoralized post-imperial Russia, quickly reneged and began advancing NATO ever closer to Russia’s borders. Washington is currently mucking around in Georgia and Ukraine, both parts of Russia’s back yard and considered seriously off limits to the western powers.

Small wonder Bush’s foolish ABM system so outrages the Russians who have every right to moral outrage and being angry as hornets. Bush’s paranoia and obsession with Iran is causing him to risk provoking a military clash with Russia. He is fast pushing Russia’s new President Dimitri Medvedev and PM Vlad Putin to the wall.

John McCain is cheering Bush on. He recently called for Russia to be expelled from the G8 and vowed that if elected president, he would "confront" Russia." (Link)

South Ossetia is now evacuating all their children to Russia. I think they are preparing for some more beating from the fascist Georgian regime. Russia has to wait at least a couple of more days before they can enter the stage. Countries that participate in the Olympic Games can not begin fighting a war in front of the opening of the Olympic Games. A rule that Georgia clearly doesn't understand. The sniper Rifles Georgia has are rifles only used by NATO members. So it is now clear on which side naive NATO stands.

I can only hope that Russia will help Abkhazia and South-Ossetia soon and and free the poor people in Abkhazia, South-Ossetia and Georgia from an American run government that is only their to bully Russia and does nothing to provide a good economy to its citizens and is in fact shooting on its own people.

Lets hope Abkhazia and South-Ossetia will become free from Georgia ones and for all, so those fantastic cultures can blossom in a free and respectful way.

Hey Seraphiel,

Knowing the American Government as well as I do. I would say that America provocation is behind every gunshot from Georgia.

You are correct the cultures are fantastic and beautiful. They need to be allowed to flourish.

Thank You very much for stopping by and leaving a comment. It is always appreciated.

Saakashvili is a criminal beyond belief. His forces staged a full-fledged genocide of South Ossetian people. They were killing women and children by running them over with their tanks! A number of women were killed by holding their heads and shooting at their necks before the head separeted. Thess saddists also killed a number of journalists covering the situation. They didn't stage warfare (warfare has rules) - they staged atrocities and ethnic clensing. Only cowards can do this, they are not men. I am not sure if targeting civilians was part of US-based training of Georgian forces just a few weeks ago but all the evidence suggests that US has intimate interests in destabilizing situation around the strong countries of the world that were its historical opponents. This way all the world's resources can be appropriated or shipped in the "right" direction. US also wishes to engulf post-Soviet Republics into NATO. That way it could have its forces surrounding Russia. The building of anti-missile shield in Eastern Europe is not against Iran as they claim - it's clearly against Russia. Even after all the evidence of ethnic clensing is clearly presented to the US, they still call it Russian "occupation". They think people are stupid and can be easily brain-washed. In fact the news is twisted every possible way to conseal the attrocities. For example, they mention "the number of people killed" but not even once have they mentioned that the Georgians killed 2000 people. Every psychological trick is used to give a twisted view of reality. In my 10 years in North America I have yet to read one positive piece of news about Russia!

For the US, Georgia is a bit similar to Iraq when it comes to its search for oil supplies. The only difference it is also trying to be its "friend" so that NATO forces can be placed there at the Russian border. It is trying to kill these two birds with one rock, which comes at Russia's expense.

Also, make no mistake about Saakashvili. He is friends with Borish Berezovsky who once needless to say, illegally, controlled 10% of Russians money in early 90's (Read Paul Khlebnikov's book "The Godfather of Kremlin"; it's no surprize the authour is no longer with us). Berezovsky is also interested in destabilizing Russia as it convicted to life in prison their for his criminal activities. In fact he himself stated that, one cannot get that rich in Russia without having to commit something illegal. Some of the personal financial transactions involved in Berezovsky's and Saakashvili's business endeavors were done with Chechen separatists. So both of them have places to hide where nobody in this world would dare to find them. Berezovsky has proved to be a powerful mastermind when it comes to impacting countries' leaders and gaining control in difficult situations. He might have a small hand to play in this situation considering how close the two are.

It should come as no surprize that the situation in South Ossetia was so much needed by parties external to Russia. Russia was left with no option but to protect its sitizens.

Hey Anonymous,

Thanks for a very good comment! I really appreciate the information. I also believe that Saakashvili is a criminal in this escapade. I also think that he was provoked to attack by the USA. I think that the USA wanted to see what Russia would do. I really think they thought Russia would sit on their butts and do nothing.

Guess Georgia and the US were wrong!

Shaakashvili strikes me as somewhat unstable. He changes his story too often, is inconsistent ( but I heard he was a lawyer in the US for a while, so this makes sense), and is the perpetrator of this violence and now acts as a helpless victim against Big Bad Evil Russia.
Serves him right. Russia should send a missile up his butt and put this nonsense to an end. And while at it tell the US to GF themselves on Iran also, and not move an inch from opposing the missile base in America's new lap dog clients in Poland and the Czech republic.

And yes, I totally agree that the US most likely instigated this violence, and Georgia's crusading leader thought that the west had his back. What was he thinking? He should have heeded Henry KILLINGER'S dictum: 'World powers do not commit suicide for their allies.'

Georgia will lose, but the US will also lose BIG. They think too much of themselves. I am glad that Russia is reasserting itself.

Hey Anonymous,

He was a lawyer for a New York Law firm. The training shows in his actions.

I want to thank you for your comment I seem to agree with most of what you say.

The missile up his butt would hurt though... :)
