1. Why my 16GB pen drive show 14.7G only? is it not full capacity?
For manufacturers of RAM, according Industry Standard, 1 KB =1000 bytes, 1MB = 1000 KB, and 1 GB = 1000 MB. So for ROM, 16G=16*1000MB*1000KB*1000bytes=16,00,000,000,000bytes
However, the computer Calculatethe the RAM in groups of 1024. 1 KB =1024 bytes, 1MB = 1024 KB, and 1 GB = 1024 MB. SO if you test the 16G RAM by computer:
16,00,000,000,000 / (1024*1024*1024) = 14.7GB
According to above calculation way, 4G is about 3.6G, 8G is about 7.2G, 16G is about is about 14.4G, 32G will show 28.8G.
2. Why the speed of my SD card and USB pen are very slow?
The most reliable software to verify memory card is H2testw. you can use this software to test them.
the SD Card / USB pen speed is greatly affected by card reader, adapter, USB port, computer speed etc. Low quality device will slow down card speed. if possible, Please prepare USB 3.0 plug, USB 3.0 card reader or USB 3.0 cable before you run the test. Otherwise, the test result will be slow as normal.
