Russian Travel!
Russian Travel Facts:
South Russia:
We are back from Vacation. We have lots of beautiful pictures & interesting stories to tell.
The only bad thing about the trip was that Russia is, Internet non existent once you leave Moscow. The only way to have had any consistent Internet would be to have used GPRS with a sim card for your laptop. We later were told about using GPRS but at that point we had invested in wireless for WiFi on our laptop...
We did not get to all towns that we wanted to travel to but we did travel around 7000 km.
The Russian Roads were wonderful, the Russian Road Cops were nice, the Russian People were fantastic and Southern Russia was a delight!

Hello,
I was drinking my morning cup of coffee and thinking about how beautiful Northern Russia is. I was also thinking about the Ukraine train trip we just completed.
We enjoyed Ukraine immensely. The Capital of Ukraine called Kiev was fun and exciting, but we were ready to come home to Russia.
When we got home we grabbed our car and took off for Northern Russia. We found a town called Novgorod. The city was beautiful, very quiet and peaceful.
We also drove much farther north to Petrozavodsk, A great town! I wanted to go to Murmansk but it was to far and we could never make it home in time. Russia is a country of vast expanses...
