How to use it:

PH meter calibration

1) Under the condition that the temperature is lower than 25 Degrees, submerge the PH meter’s electrode into the mixed phosphate standard buffered solution (PH is 6.86)

and slightly shake the electrode

2) Use the small screwdriver to adjust and revise potentiometer until the displayed value accord with the PH value of the standard buffered solution

3) Submerge the PH meter’s electrode into the Potassium hydrogen phthalate (PH4.0) or the borax standard buffered solution (PH9.18).

4) After one minutes, the error between the displayed value and the PH value of the standard buffered solution belongs to the allowed range.

Note:

• Under the following situations, the PH meter must be calibrated again
• The PH meter had been used or placed for a long time after calibrated
• The electrode is used frequently
• The requirement of testing accuracy is higher.

Operating steps:

1. Take down the protective jacket of PH meter
2. Use distilled water to clean up the electrode of PH meter, and then use filter paper to soaks up the water of electrode
3. Switch on the switch which on the battery compartment
4. Insert the PH meter into solution until the liquid submerge the “immersion lineâ€
5. Slightly stir resolution for about two minutes and you can read the displayed value
6. After use, clean up the electrode, turn off switch and put on the protective jacket of PH meter

The introduction of TDS-3 Tester:

• It is used for water test
• Take down the protective jacket
• Insert the TDS-3 Tester into solution until that the liquid submerges the “immersion lineâ€
• Slightly stir the liquid to eliminate the bubble in the TDS-3 Tester
• Wait for 10 seconds until the displayed value is stable, and then press the HOLD button and take out the Tester to read the displayed value
• After use, spin-dry the liquid in the tester and put on the protective jacket
• Test the Temperature
• You can use the temperature test function in the liquid or air at any time when you open the tester
• Press the EEMP button, the display screen will change into Temperature Display
• Continuously press the TEMP button, the tester will change into TDS mode
• Note: You had better not submerge the TDS-3 tester into water; the TDS-3 tester should be protected from direct sunlight, heavy load and fall. And it can test the
• 80 Degrees hot-water

Note:

1. The value of TDS can show the content of impurities. The bigger of the value means that the content of impurities is larger; conversely, the content of impurities is small.
2. The factors that affect the test value of TDS: the temperature of water (the TDS-3 tester cannot test the water with high temperature such as, boiled water). The flow velocity of water (the TDS-3 tester cannot be applied to test the flowing water)
3. If the tester displays a flashing “X10†icon, multiply the reading by 10
